Step inside my studio

As the weather turns warmer I look for time to spend in my studio as well as take walks with my Labradoodle Layla. I notice the changes happening in the air, to the plants, trees, and wildlife around me. I take inspiration from the colors that are coming out of hibernation. From pansies, to tulips, and the shoots on the trees, the subtle hues tell me spring is here and summer is right around the corner.
With spring comes new events. Please check out the Events page to see where I will be selling so you can buy in person. There's nothing like holding a handmade piece to feel the weight and see the beautiful details.
In the meantime I am playing with my new glass saw, which allows me to create completely one of a kind pieces. The glass used in the piece pictured below was from scrap pieces from other projects. The glass is layered and melted together to form a 1" thick by 7" long and 4"wide piece of fused glass. Just like a stark field exploding with color at the start of spring, each cut in the fused glass exposes an impossible number of new patterns.
I cannot wait to share the final pieces with you!
